The 2026 South Carolina gubernatorial election will take place on November 3, 2026, and will determine the successor to Republican Governor Henry McMaster, who is term-limited and cannot run again. Primary elections are scheduled for June 9, 2026, with runoff elections on June 23 if no candidate receives a majority of the vote.
